Phoebe has created herself many of those images that will give us that same energy. This is her last collection for CELINE. Some say is a self portrait, some say is rebel. Not wanting to be dramatic but is there any other way to say this? It is indeed the end of an era.
Philo has filled us with excitement and showed us all there is a way of being cool and comfortable breaking the edges of fashion with that "I don't even care" attitude. She brought art closer and a new perspective on minimal bold dressing.
Is not only about leaving CELINE. It's that the brand without her will never be the same and is about not having her bringing her masterpieces to us every season. We hope you come back soon Phoebe. We miss you already!

SOPHIE BUHAI SS'18 new collection's beautiful pictures via OBJECT OF, my dearest Kara Town's brand new website. I don't know which one to be more excited about but I love both. Two amazing creative minds, two websites worth checking out.
FOREST & FOUND
in ART
FOREST AND FOUND is the collaborative studio practice by Max Brainbridge and Abigail Booth, both working with wood, natural pigments and textiles. Architectural sculptures, ancient landscapes and cultural objects are all source of inspiration and starting points for physical process and visual composition.
Their work particularly got my attention for their rough aesthetic. I have been collecting wooden pieces for 5 years now. When we moved to Shanghai and started to travel more around Asia I just couldn't resist. Wooden spoons and bowls are my thing. I have a collection of different sizes, shapes and type of wood but non like above yet.
Here are some of FOREST AND FOUND's pieces that have been displayed at London Craft Week last year.

The last of Céline as we knew it! This collection is "the work of Phoebe's studio" and the last Céline collection fully overseen by Phoebe. She will be deeply missed and we so hope she will be coming back soon to continue inspire us with her unparalleled vision. But the truth is, we respect and will wait patiently and hopeful.
Definitely the end of an era. The end of Philo's legacy, at least at Céline.
